Good to Know
A few little details to make the weekend easy.
Is this an unplugged celebration?
Yes — we’re keeping phones tucked away so everyone can be fully present, and phones stay indoors during the day. During the ceremony especially, please keep phones down. We’ve got a wonderful photographer capturing everything, and we’ll share the photos with you afterward.
What should I wear?
- Thursday game night — casual and comfy.
- Friday barbecue — relaxed and outdoorsy; dressing up is optional.
- Saturday wedding — semi-formal. It’s outdoors on grass, so block heels or flats are your friend, and bring a layer for the evening.
How do I get there?
Hop the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale, then it’s a short drive to Linwood House in Roberts Creek.

There are a few lovely spots nearby — hotels, inns, and vacation rentals along the Sunshine Coast.

- A layer for the cooler evening.
- Comfortable shoes for grass and lawn games.
- Sunscreen and a hat for the afternoon.
- A swimsuit, if you fancy the beach or sauna.
Will there be food and drinks?
Absolutely — come hungry. Passed appetizers at cocktail hour, a seated dinner, signature cocktails, mocktails, and plenty of non-alcoholic options. Let us know about any dietary needs.
Peek at the menu →What time should I arrive on Saturday?
Arrive any time from 4:15pm and find a seat — the ceremony begins at 5:00pm, so please be settled by 4:50pm.
Are kids welcome?
Children are part of our day — our ring bearer and flower girl will lead the way down the aisle. If you have any questions about bringing your little ones, just reach out.
Still have a question?
Reach out to Conor or Georgina anytime — we’re happy to help.
