Good to Know

A few little details to make the weekend easy.

Is this an unplugged celebration?

Yes — we’re keeping phones tucked away so everyone can be fully present, and phones stay indoors during the day. During the ceremony especially, please keep phones down. We’ve got a wonderful photographer capturing everything, and we’ll share the photos with you afterward.

What should I wear?

  • Thursday game night — casual and comfy.
  • Friday barbecue — relaxed and outdoorsy; dressing up is optional.
  • Saturday wedding — semi-formal. It’s outdoors on grass, so block heels or flats are your friend, and bring a layer for the evening.

How do I get there?

Hop the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale, then it’s a short drive to Linwood House in Roberts Creek.

Where should I stay?

There are a few lovely spots nearby — hotels, inns, and vacation rentals along the Sunshine Coast.

What should I bring?

  • A layer for the cooler evening.
  • Comfortable shoes for grass and lawn games.
  • Sunscreen and a hat for the afternoon.
  • A swimsuit, if you fancy the beach or sauna.

Will there be food and drinks?

Absolutely — come hungry. Passed appetizers at cocktail hour, a seated dinner, signature cocktails, mocktails, and plenty of non-alcoholic options. Let us know about any dietary needs.

Are kids welcome?
